One of my first paintings using more earth tones and colors. At the time of painting I was exploring lots of yellows and I wanted to take a step back and reduce the bright tones of this particular painting. The visual movement represents my emotion (as do all my paintings!) of turbulence and turmoil. Where conflict exists and how my entire world was swirling around me like a tornado. I enjoy large arm movements as I paint as well as the juxtaposition of crisp lines and soft feathering of the paint.
