The lies we tell ourselves

36” x 36”

Acrylic Paint / Mixed Media on Canvas

Completed December, 2019

This piece is the visualization of how lies can spread like a virus. They form sometimes out of nowhere, multiply and evolve. Lies that you need to tell to cover up other lies. Lies that you tell yourself because you’re self conscious. I’m too fat, I’m ugly, I’m not good enough. What lies have you told yourself lately?
