This was my first painting after a long hiatus. Getting situated within the profession I chose, finding a partner, & starting a family among others took precedence over art. However now is the time! My time. This was a very different painting when it started. I’d label it a blender full of colors, techniques, and trials sparked up on the high setting. Then it sat around my studio while i did other things. I’d pass by, trying to figure out whether i like it or not. One day it hit me right in the frontal lobe and revisions were flying out everywhere.  I thought of Santorini, Greece and its bleach white buildings, colorful doors, and the bright sun casting hyper color shadows set against the beautiful blue Aegean Sea.  Its a large painting, Signed on front and Stamped on back, Ready to hang.
